The parties continue

The rest of August started out with a special visit from my step-sister Leah, her family, and Grandma and Grandpa Neel. They were here for an afternoon and Logan was instantly sad when they all left. We are so glad they took the time to come up and see us. Especially since it was Uncle Tom's birthday.

One afternoon we played hop scotch...

Followed by our Rush dance party.

Deer seem to be having their own feeding parties at Logan's school all the time.

We had our own little stomp rocket party.

Plus there were a few more birthday parties before August was over.

The first party was in Albuquerque. To kill some time prior to the party Logan and I visited Chuck E. Cheese's again. He enjoyed skee ball more this time around.

This was an appropriate final game at CC's considering what was at the birthday party.

This is one lucky little birthday girl. Her family does a big party every other year rather than a little party every year. It was a ton of fun, especially since I got to spend some time with my dear friends Kristin (birthday mom) and Rebekah, who are my sewing buddies. Plus, who wouldn't love a pony/pool party.

One serious rider.

A break to call Dad and tell him all about the party.

Longest conversation he had ever had on the phone.

Back to the party for some more fun. This may have been his first tire swing ride.

Finishing off the month was a birthday pool party up in Los Alamos.

This is M., Logan's on and off close friend.

They had a great time together at the party.

My friend Branden and the sweet birthday boy.

Our furry buddy still hanging around our yard.

Bubbles are a great way to end the month.

I believe he is trying to get bubbles up his shorts.
Goodbye August.
